Our fourth short story about volunteering at the Centre as part of our Valentine’s Week campaign;

Fundraising recently became part of my brief and was I delighted to meet a willing volunteer. I was at something of a loss when this task came my way but my difficulty quickly became an opportunity with the arrival of this volunteer. This person is a stream of ideas and energy, a vital combination that can turn words into action.
Not a day goes by but this person has another idea for fundraising, ideas that included a successful table quiz in a local pub. The latest idea is to raise money by making window boxes from old pallets, an idea that will enhance the housing estate the person lives in and will make a few much needed euros for the centre.
