Cycling Ireland are running a 1 day training course for teaching coaches and individuals from Clubs who wish to become a Sprocket Rocket Coach. The aim of the Sprocket Rocket programme is for coaches to teach children aged 5-11 the basic skills required to become a confident and competent cyclist.
The coach needs to bring a bike, helmet and a notepad (along with suitable clothing). There will be a mixture of theory, a practical group work, and outdoors working on the skills, and coaching skills for working with children.
