To any Boruvians who signed up for HOTW this morning – it was a little confusing!
I was in touch with HOTW directly and they explained that the pre-registration system is meant to take the pressure off of entrants and to make it as fair as possible. Based on actual race numbers from the last few seasons they anticipate that everyone who pre-registers will be offered a place. Unfortunately, the button for pre registration was incorrectly labelled as "wait list" when in fact it is the pre-registration list which is why there was confusion.

HOTW have said they will be changing the site to reflect this but it may not be done until Monday.
Any Boru member who has put in their details into that list online is effectively on the pre-register list but if you wish to double check email info@borutriclub.com and we can follow up. This list is still open if you have not yet registered your interest in taking part in HOTW 2014
So Goal 1….check!
