A very good day for Boru yesterday at the Worlds End Tri in Castleconnell – Bobby Reynolds was the first Boru man home in 1hr 14mins and had the fastest swim time and run time but it was close!
Great performances also from Michael Kelly, Des O'Donnell, John Dillon, Paul O'Connor and Frank O'Grady but best cycling legs in the Individual Sprint once again goes to Paul LegsofSteel Dorrell – well done Paul!
Boru Relay teams on the podium once again in 1st and 2nd place!
1st place Relay let by Majella Scanlan and her team of Olympic hopefuls Eoghan and Brian in just over 1 hr 5mins (seriously Majella – get them to join Boru!) – Eoghan finished the cycle in a very scary 30 mins and Brian killed the 5k run home and was chilling out drinking tea in just over 16 mins and probably didn't even break a sweat!
2nd place Relay was Boru 2 – Linda Bracken leading the duo on swim and bike and the gazelle-like Art Mozdzer making great time on the run so all happy out!
A lovely day out – fabulous weather – great way to spend the day…
a great event on the calendar if you haven't tried it.
Photos will follow when they become available
