Reduce/Avoid Wheat (particularly refined wheat). Although Whole wheat is very nourishing it is also very heavy and sticky, making it difficult to digest. Always check labels – wheat is in almost everything! breads, cakes, bisuits, breakfast cereals, sauces, etc.
Grains that are beneficial during Spring are barley, rye and corn. If you're in Ireland – Many of the Polish bakeries/shops (& some supermarkets) have rye and barley breads available. If you're having corn products, just make sure the corn used is GMO free.
