Boru Tri Club Cycling Pre Season Plan
We are now entering into pre season SIUP phase (Suck It Up Princess) with the specific aim of preparing for the upcoming duathlon and triathlon distances and pace needed.
We will maintain our aerobic endurance with a longer 50-70k steady pace spin one week and then…….. alternate the following weekend with speed and interval work over a shorter distance to get our pace up! (but with longer slower warm up and cool down).
This pattern will alternate over the coming weeks with a gradually increasing and varying challenge on the interval work to turn us into total beasts!
