CPR/AED + BASIC FIRST AID COURSE on in the Lakeside Leisure Centre, Killaloe Wednesday March 11th + 18th 2015 @ 7.00 pm. Course includes Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED, Choking, Traumatic Injuries and Medical Emergencies such as Seizures, Diabetes and Meningitis. The cost of the course is 50 euro per person. Ennis Duathlon this month is approaching Sun 29 March – now part of the National Series.
The distances for this year‘s race will be a 7km road run, a 27km cycle and a 4km wooded run.
The race is open to all. Race essentials for the day are runners, a bicycle and a bike helmet (TI One Day licence or Race licence required).

The long range weather forecast for Sunday is for highs of 14 degrees and cloudy sunshine – perfect running conditions.
Online registration will close on Friday at midnight – book now to avail of the discounted entry fees. Registration for both the 10K race and 5K Fun-run / walk will be available on race day at the Castleconnell Community Hall from 11:30am.

Well done to the 4 Borumen who did a great race today in Shannon at the Banner Duathlon in very poor weather conditions.
Boru mettle was tested in a tough morning out there with 4 seasons in one day with rain, hail, wind and sun but there were good showings from Michael Kelly, Paul Dorrell, Ray Hickey and Eoin Little. Fastest run was from Michael Kelly and fastest bike from Paul Dorrell but all finished with only a few mins between them. Well done guys!
