The first OFFICIAL open water swim went off without a splash tonight at Twomilegate, some of us went in Easter weekend – one or two never stopped all winter! the water has not warmed up much yet!
All who dipped are now wearing the Lough Derg Facelift – faces 2 sizes smaller than our heads. No surgery required.
Nice turnout, we'll be back next Wednesday for more. If you decide to go out in the meantime – please post up on the member chat page…

Open water swimming is back!
As of this Weds at 6.30pm – anyone brave enough to dip a hairy toe in the water (we'll stick with "brave") come bob along to the Slipway at Twomilegate aiming to be into the water 6.30ish for a quick one.
If you are sensitive to the chill think about neoprene swim socks!

The BORUMAN Swim – after a wee stroll to the top of the canal beside the Shannon – step into the water and swim down the canal in groups.
Like having your own outdoor swim lane.
