Congratulations to Sinead McNamara who celebrates 20 years working in The Lakeside Hotel today.

Well done on this fantastic milestone Sinead. You have been a huge part of the hotels success over the years and sure the place wouldn't be the same without you.

Back in 1994, some notable events; Ireland won the Eurovision song contest (again!) and Riverdance was first performed, The World cup was held in the USA and Ireland beat Italy in their first match, 1-0, Offaly won the All Ireland Hurling Final (beating Limerick).
We were listening to; Saturday Night by Whigfield, Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex, All for Love by Brian Adams to name a few.
