Morning!! This week last year, 2 days after being awarded café of the year.. I slipped on the stairs and very badly dislocated and broke my ankle.. meaning I was out of action for months.. lots of time for thinking! Thanks to a fantastic team we got through, however it really made me revaluate lots of things!!
After years of working70 – 80 hr weeks and juggling lots of different plates, and we have decide to put a couple down.. and concentrate on what we do best… and maybe try to achieve the elusive work life balance idea I hear people speak of!! So there will be a few exciting changes in the Spoon..
A very small change of location.. a mere skip across the road for our café, after the bank holiday weekend. We are currently designing a cool new quirky café which will be full of lovely cakes and sweet treats, healthy new salads, lovely warm lunches and lots of great meals to take away.. and we will also be opening a small cookery school, where we will have an exciting range of classes for both kids and adults…
