Killaloe Coast Guard Unit was tasked to remove a fridge freezer from the moorings at Ballina. The fridge was being used as a boat. A concerned member of the public called Valentia Coast Guard MRSC. The fridge was removed from the area.

Call to MRSC Valentia from a member of the local Coast Guard Unit that a Hired Cruiser had struck Killaloe Bridge. Small Tender Craft Investigated at Killaloe
Killaloe Coast Guard was tasked to investigate a small craft that appeared to be stuck under Killaloe Bridge by Killaloe Gardai. Due to the darkness and the bad weather at the time it was unclear as to the nature of difficulty the craft was in or if any one was or had been on board. Killaloe Coast Guard Unit was tasked to a 24′ Sea Ray that had engine failure and were in danger of being washed ashore. Killaloe Coast Guard were tasked by MRSC Valentia when a member of the public reported a boat adrift on the lower lake with no visible person on board.
