The hedgehog update…. Good news:) he's on the mend.

Hi All Just to let you know that I picked up a sad lil hog last Monday from some lovely people in Killaloe. The poor Hog had paralysis in his fore limbs and I wasn't sure he would make it. BUT he turned a corner last night! He has been on serious pain meds and anti inflams since I collected him I was really worried and had decided if he couldn't walk and was still falling over on Sunday night he was to join his Angles BUT when I took him from his little enclosure last night to clean and feed HE RAN AWAY FROM ME The paralysis in his fore lags has gone and he is excersising normally. I have applied for his NPWS license so I am covered by the law to keep him here at the Hogsprickle till spring when he will be big and fat enough to go wild.
