The Hoorovahill Challenge was a great success this morning – a real test of Boru stamina starting with a “refreshing” downpour of hail to exfoliate the skin off before the cycle!
The fastest Hoor On De Hill coming in at 10mins 17secs was Colin “The Beast” Byrne, followed hotly only 9 seconds later by Ronan Egan, and a mere 6 seconds later by Art Mozdzer – so it was a very tight contest- breathe twice and it could have been a different tale.
All 7 cyclists came in very close together – well done to Martin Pearl, “My Pat” Minogue (hulking out of his leggings this morning – don't make him angry…), Dave Egan and Ray Hickey in the challenge – photos to follow, watch this space!
