The sixth and final volunteer story in our Killaloe/Ballina Community & Family R…

by Killaloe/Ballina Community & Family Resource Centre

The sixth and final volunteer story in our Killaloe/Ballina Community & Family Resource Centre loves Volunteers campaign. Happy Valentine’s Day!

One particular volunteer has championed volunteering since she came to us over two years ago.
Working in several roles from evaluating the Elderly Network to her more recent appointment to the Board of Management she has been instrumental in supporting the development of volunteering at the centre. She is now our Volunteer Co-ordinator.
Thanks to her hard work and persistence we now have a system in place which means our volunteers are looked after, valued, supported and encouraged from start to finish.
This volunteer is truly an inspiration. Her ability and willingness to turn her hand and mind to so many different aspects of the work of the centre is invaluable. She is a wonderful sounding board for ideas with an innate ability to understand and empathise.
What a great support she is to volunteers and staff alike. She literally is a ‘power house’, full of enthusiasm, energy and light. She brightens the day and makes such a difference…..Thank you!

Volunteers….You Rock!
To all our wonderful Volunteers…..you do an amazing job!
We thank you all for your time, your energy and for the roles you play in supporting the work of the Killaloe/Ballina Community & Family Resource Centre.
THANK YOU!
