This year’s community Christmas blessing, Christmas tree lighting and carol singing will commence at 7pm at the central flower bed on Main Street Ballina on Saturday December 8th. All are invited to mark the start of Christmas with Carols from our local “Boru Community Singers” followed by further song and dance in Mills Bar where performers will include another local choir “The Gúnas”. Later that evening the Tidy Towns Group will present the Supervalu sponsored “Annual Ballina Local Environmental Awards”. A great evening’s entertainment assured.
